A very special indie project that allowed me to combine my linguistic and literary expertise as a narrative designer, translator, proofreader, and LQA specialist. Together with Association The Project, we're working on a game with a powerful message.
Worked on a major AAA title with an outstanding team. I was primarily responsible for translating side quests, with the main challenge being to preserve the game's tone and style.
This project required a great deal of creativity to bring imaginary creatures to life. Together with the excellent linguists at Fugu, we rose to the challenge in each of our languages.
Proofreading another translator's work is always a delicate balance: respecting their choices while ensuring accuracy and consistency. A great collaboration with Sasha Kisina on this old-school game.

Working on projects that remind humanity of our biggest threat — ourselves — is inspiring. Translating such topics feels like sending a message to many people and helping make the world better.
One of my biggest projects, with many challenges: extensive fact-checking, research, consulting transliteration rules, encyclopedias — and now players around the world can build their own news empire in the 1930s.
This game has a clear ecological message, and the goal was to raise awareness without sounding moralizing. Translation is about choosing the right words — finding them is my main focus.
The main focus in any genre, especially strategy games, is clarity. They demand a lot of player attention, so the translator must ease immersion. As with every project, I paid extra attention to genre-specific features.
